Under the direction of the MANAGER, assistant is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality and responding to customer service requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality
Notify manager of any safety concerns
Perform other duties as required
Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed
Carry out maintenance aspects of property, ordering new supplies and working with staff on any necessary improvements
Complete all service requests
Available for weekend work, on-call duties and occasional emergency service requests
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's License
Must pass background check
Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing
Sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standards of a Service Technician II
