If you're the kind of person that took apart a computer when you were younger or perhaps still can do it - if you're a person with an interest in electrical assemblies, electronics and you're not afraid of wires and learning what they do and how they are assembled - - - We have an entry level position where we will patiently teach you how that works. In this position you will learn:
-Machinery Inspection
-Machinery Assembly
-Electrical Wiring
-Electrical device quality review
IMPAK Corporation (www.sorbentsystems.com and impakcorporation.com) is a manufacturer and provider of unique specialty packaging products, printed packaging, desiccants, sealers, and sorbents for use in applications worldwide.
We are a fast-paced and growing (45+ employees, in two locations) company located in Los Angeles, CA and Sebastian, Florida and looking for an individual who can learn the details and attributes of our products, driven to perform well and willing to be trained.
This position is a day shift starting at 8:00 am Monday through Friday, with periodic overtime. The ideal candidate is organized, hard-working and a detail-focused individual. This is a hands-on, lead-by-example role with growth potential.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Proficient with multi-tasking with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
-Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
-Ability to use hands and fingers, including standing in an assembly/warehouse environment for long periods of time (8+ hours)

Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour DOE with pay raises as job progresses
