Market leader Home A/V company seeking applicants for an experienced networking/programming position. Company offers a fun and creative work environment that provides cutting edge technology to our clients. Company specializes in the design and installation of audio, video, lighting control, automated shades, camera systems, HVAC control, and landscape lighting.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience.
⢠Certified and/or at least 3 years programming experience TCP/IP networking
⢠Certification and/or programming experience of URC Remotes
⢠Certification and/or training of Lutron lighting and motorized shades
⢠Certification and/or training of Savant systems
Additional traits:
⢠Will have a positive "can do" attitude with the ability to wear many hats.
⢠Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential electronic systems, installation or service.
⢠Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measurable plan and complete in a timely fashion.
⢠Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
⢠Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
⢠An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
⢠Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals.
⢠Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction.
⢠Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, and equipment racks.
⢠Able and willing to work off of a ladder.
⢠Must be able and willing to work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined such as an attic or crawl space or outdoors in the Florida heat.
⢠Candidate must own basic hand/power tools. Industry specific will be provided
The ideal applicant would be well spoken, reliable, punctual, have a strong work ethic, have problem solving skills, be able keep a clean work area, pay attention to detail, able to follow instructions, and work individually and as a team. An electrical, HVAC, or mechanical background would be preferred.
Looking for someone who lives in or nearby Vero Beach as most of our jobs are local.
