Palm City Auto Repair and Collision Center is currently looking for a motivated and experienced B Tech.
This is a Flat Rate Position and Salary Depends on Experience. $20 - $25Hr.
The ideal candidates will use their automotive knowledge and experience to properly facilitate automotive repairs. Also, the ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate attention to detail, and provide quality in all work performed.
Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
-Use the company software-Shop Monkey
-Perform a variety of vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders accurately and efficiently.
-Accurately document work performed on each vehicle.
-Communicate with the mechanical service writer to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of parts.
-Perform routine maintenance as needed, including fluids, filters, rotating tires, and oil changes.
-Adhere to manufacturer specifications.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous automotive technical experience. At least 2 years.
Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
General mechanical skills, manual dexterity and ability to operate power and hand tools, and other types of machinery.
Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in a tool purchase program.
Ability to operate a forklift and vehicles. (Including manual transmissions.)
Valid in-state driver's license.
Effective time management skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Certifications are a plus and strongly desired.
Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, 1 hour Lunch
Saturdays: 8:00AM - 1:00PM AS NEEDED
