Are you an experienced flooring professional seeking an opportunity to showcase your expertise in a dynamic and thriving environment? Our flooring store in Vero Beach is expanding, and we’d love to have you join our dedicated team!
What We Specialize In:
-Custom Sand and Finish (including stairways)
-Wood, Vinyl, and Carpet Installations
-What We Are Looking For:
-We are in search of a full-time team member who is eager to grow with us and possesses some of the following qualifications:
-Proven experience in carpet installation and/or hard surface flooring.
-Expertise in sanding and finishing hardwood floors.
-Experience in baseboard and trim work, cutting and fitting treads.
-Knowledge of how to evaluate a slab for levelness and take the appropriate steps to level the slab.
-Willingness to learn and grow.
-Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
-Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
-Exceptional time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
-Reliable transportation is a must.
-A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
-Physical capability to lift over 30 lbs, as well as push, pull, carry, climb, balance, and walk as needed.
-Ability to accurately gauge sizes and distances.
-Proficiency in seaming wool and hand-loomed carpets, along with a solid understanding of various carpet types and installation techniques.
