We are seeking a skilled small engine mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various pieces of landscape equipment.
Qualifications
2 years of professional small engine mechanics and maintenance experience
Clean Florida Driver’s License
Experience to diagnose and repair problems with 2 & 4 cycle engines on the following brands: John Deere, Stihl, Scagg, Echo 2 & 4 Cycle equipment such as blowers, edgers, weed eaters, trimmers etc, and various mowers
Clear understanding of testing procedures, tear-down and rebuild, proper parts replacements
Responsibilities
Welding and/or fabrication for repairs a PLUS!
Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire changes, and other vehicle services on small engines, trucks and trailers
Evaluate the condition of landscape equipment and make repair recommendations
Monitor, follow up and schedule PM services
Ensure all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in good working order
Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per the task at hand
Compensation:
- $20-$25/hour
