Local tree service business has a full-time immediate opening for a qualified Arborist Crew Leader. Must show up to work on time every weekday.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Commercially insurable driving record (no major past or present infractions)
Preferred skills and abilities:
- Advanced leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and delegate crew assignments
- Basic knowledge of trees and tree identification
- Ability to operate chain saw, chipper, stump grinder, and lift equipment
- Knowledge of tree climbing and removal techniques (work with ropes and removal equipment)
- Ability to recognize, respect, and avoid hazards
- Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
