Skyborne OpportunityWe are looking for talented and skilled Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice to assist the licensed mechanics in their daily duties while receiving OJT and working towards their A&P rating. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventive maintenance on the aircraft starting with the simpler tasks and training to become more experienced and proficient with more complex tasks.Problem-solving skills and an understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics are crucial to this role. This role also requires physical stamina and strength, as you’ll have to stand for long hours and occasionally carry heavy loads.Report to work at the assigned times and days.Follow instructions to the letter without deviation unless instructed by your supervisor.To maintain a record of all your training if looking to obtain you’re A&P license.Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices Detect faults and malfunctions through observation (sound or visual) Repair broken or faulty machine partsChoose appropriate parts and materials based on identified needsAlign and calibrate machine partsMonitor and report on project progress to your supervisorFollow Company procedures, safety rules and regulationsMaintain a safe and clean work environment
