A well-established industry leader in natural stone manufacturing is looking for a construction estimator / drafter for a full-time job.
The estimator will be responsible for the estimating of commercial and residential jobs, and the production of accurate take-off, as well as follow-up estimates sent.
Key responsibilities:
- Estimating
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other project documentation and successfully implement that information for an accurate take off.
- Reading and interpreting red line mark ups and translating to work drawings.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects and clients during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy.
- Calculate the dimensions and material requirements.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Estimating experience is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency English / Spanish.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural construction drawings.
- Familiarity with construction methods and material.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Proactive attitude.
- Authorized to work in the United States
