Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the processing of payable invoices and maintaining sound accounting systems and structures. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the construction industry.Responsibilities: Manage the processing and payment of payable invoices in a timely and efficient manner Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records of financial transactions Oversee the process of weekly account payable, ensuring all checks are processed correctly Handle any discrepancies in the accounts payable function, resolving issues promptly and maintaining the integrity of accounting records Monitor and control expense reporting within the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards Utilize your strong accounting background to improve processes, making use of data processing skills to analyze accounts payable data Implement and manage construction accounting processes, utilizing industry-specific knowledge to ensure compliance and efficiency Handle any customer credit inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses Oversee the maintenance of customer credit records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate Monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate steps to collect delinquent payments when necessary. Requirements Possess 1+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or in a similar role. Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems. Demonstrable experience in Data Processing and Accounting Functions. Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Check Processing. Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies in financial documents. Experience in Expense Reporting and Construction Accounting is advantageous. Familiarity with Construction industry and its financial aspects. Ability to manage Payable Invoices effectively. Experience in Weekly Account Payable management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional certification in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
