Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Legal Assistant, you will be a pivotal part of our team, supporting the office staff and attorneys with a range of responsibilities. Your main duties will involve research, drafting legal documents, and managing a high volume of pleadings daily. Responsibilities Carry out research work as required. Assist in drafting complaints and pleadings. Manage and respond to a high volume of pleadings on a daily basis. Exercise strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, and calculate days of the week and months. Utilize Outlook for the scheduling and management of events. Schedule depositions over the telephone. Ensure accurate e-filing of documents. Maintain client relations and facilitate effective communication. Oversee the processing of customer credit applications. Maintain and update customer credit records meticulously.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Legal Assistant role or similar position. Demonstrated expertise in Calendar Management. Proven abilities in maintaining and enhancing Client Relations. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in managing Commercial Litigation cases. Thorough understanding and experience in Litigation processes. Proficiency in drafting Legal Documents and Pleadings. Familiarity with e-Filing systems and processes. Experience in scheduling Depositions and other legal proceedings.
