The Wendy's Company is hiring experienced Restaurant General Managers and Shift Managers for corporate-owned locations in FL!

Positions: Restaurant General Manager & Shift Manager

Pay:

GM:$55,000 to $68,000 + bonus + benefits

SM: $14 to $19 per hour + benefits

Locations: Corporate-owned locations throughout Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise

The ideal Shift Manager candidate is a confident decision maker who is ready to learn. You must be an effective communicator both verbally and in written form. This individual should be willing and ready to lead a team each shift and help train team members.

In this role you will:

- Train and reinforce food safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment

- Manage food and labor costs

- Follow company policies and operating systems

- Provide team member training

- Anticipate issues and take corrective actions during shift

- Report to the Assistant and General Managers

Key responsibilities vary based on position but can include:

- Effectively managing employees and team members

- Day to day operations of 1.5 million dollar restaurant

- Participate in training and development of all team members

- Objectively evaluate employee performance to determine coaching needs

- Assist with creating schedules within budget and time constraints

- Maintain employee files and documentation while maintaining confidentiality

- See that restaurant adheres to compliance policies at all times

- Other duties as assigned

Required:

- Recent management experience

- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations

- Self Motivated

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Mobility required during the entire shift (bending, twisting, etc.) along with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
