Job Description: Ritota & Ritota is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. This part-time position has the potential to become full-time after the initial 90 days of employment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a dedication to patient care that aligns with our practice’s values.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Assess patients’ oral health and document findings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and manage anxiety during treatments
Requirements:
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida
- Own malpractice insurance (or willingness to acquire before starting)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule:
- Part-time: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Potential for full-time after 90 days based on performance and practice needs
Compensation:
Hourly pay: $20-30
Start Date:
Expected early to mid-September
