An on-site supervisor with knowledge of concrete restoration, stucco repair, and swing stage proficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
Onsite Supervisor:
Oversee and manage on-site activities related to concrete restoration and stucco repair.
Coordinate with workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
Concrete Restoration & Stucco Repair :
Understand the techniques and materials involved in concrete & stucco repair, including patching, resurfacing, and crack repair.
Inspect damaged concrete structures to determine the extent of deterioration and the best method for restoration.
Supervise the removal of damaged concrete and the application of new materials.
Manage the preparation, application, and curing of stucco to ensure proper adhesion and longevity to avoid future issues like cracking or peeling.
Swing Stage Proficiency:
Expertise in operating swing stages (suspended scaffolding) for work on high-rise buildings or difficult-to-access areas.
Ensure proper safety checks, and usage of swing stages, including harnesses, fall protection, and other safety equipment.
Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work and adherence to project plans.
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and conducting safety meetings.
Address any safety concerns or violations immediately and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Communication and Reporting:
Act as a liaison between project managers, clients, and on-site workers.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Address any issues or challenges on-site promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in construction supervision, specifically in concrete restoration and stucco repair.
Certifications: OSHA certification, scaffolding safety training, and other relevant certifications.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
