As a Field Technician – AAADM Certification, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining access control systems, CCTV systems, and electrified door hardware. You will also assist with the installation of electrified door locking mechanisms and ensure compliance with safety and code requirements.
To qualify for this great opportunity, you should have:
3 years’ experience with installing and servicing intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems.
Strong mechanical skills: able to repair electro-mechanical devices and understand basic electrical circuits and relay logic.
Experience with electrified commercial doors, hardware, operators, and access control hardware.
AAADM certification (or intention to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Knowledge of life safety, fire, and ADA codes; Hurricane Codes preferred.
Basic locksmithing skills (lever sets, panic bars, closers, lock picking, etc.).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid, unrestricted state driver’s license.
Ability to climb ladders up to 30 ft. and carry up to 50 pounds.
On-call availability for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Successful completion of drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle report.
Valid, unrestricted state driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics, security, or computer systems.
Certified Alarm Technician Level 3 or Certified Electronic Access Control Technician.
IP Video and IT experience.
Experience planning schedules, laying out electronic equipment installations, and assisting in start-up and check-out of new systems.
