JOB SUMMARY: Will lead and train a crew of 3 to 4 people with field applications. Must be able to solve unforeseen dilemmas and problems on the job site as they occur. Work with field supervisor to continue good public relations with customers and management. Responsible for paperwork, timesheets, maintaining equipment on job sites, and ensuring that OSHA standards and All Area Roofing requirements are followed to keep a safe working environment.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five (5) years of Forman roofing experience.
Knowledge of Built-Up Roofing, Adhesive systems, Torch modified & Single-Ply Roofing
Experience with commercial roofing systems: EPDM, BUR, Foam, Acrylic, Shingles, TPO,
PVC, Mod. Bit. & Metal Roof Repairs
Working knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing procedures and safety.
Requirements:
Must speak English and Spanish.
Driver’s License in good standing. Have reliable transportation.
Must know how to repair all commercial roofs.
Must be available to work full-time.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. & climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Capable of reading blueprints and manufacturer specifications
Basic knowledge of the Florida Building Code (FBC)
Basic knowledge of OSHA compliance
