We believe Art Education is an excellent way of teaching our youth about flexibility, problem solving, communication, innovation, mindfulness, and how to strive towards personal growth. Our aim is to develop these skills by challenging and cultivating creativity.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fine Arts Instructor to join our dynamic team at Priscilla & Tiffany's Art Academy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and a strong background in teaching students aged 4 to 18. As a Fine Arts Instructor, you will inspire and nurture young artists, fostering their creativity, technical skills, and appreciation for various art forms.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive art lessons to students across different age groups (4-18), adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration, experimentation, and expression.

Instruct students in various fine arts disciplines, such sketching, charcoal, pastel, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media, while integrating art history and theory.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic techniques and concepts.

Plan and organize art projects, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase students' work and encourage a sense of accomplishment.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share teaching strategies, and contribute to the growth and development of the art academy's programs.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments, and communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance.

Stay current with developments in art education, fine arts trends, and teaching methodologies to continuously enhance the quality of instruction.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (Visual Art).

Expertise in teaching fine arts (visual art) to students aged 4 to 18.

Strong artistic skills and a diverse portfolio showcasing proficiency in various fine arts disciplines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of different ages and backgrounds.

Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children and young adults.

Knowledge of art history, artistic techniques, and contemporary art trends.

Organizational skills to plan and execute engaging art projects and activities.

Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.

Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Proficiency in using technology and art-related software for instructional purposes is a plus.
