Position Overview:
The Onsite Supervisor will oversee and manage a team of temporary employees at a customer site. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to ensure that team goals and production requirements are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, department supervisors, and facility leadership to maintain a productive and collaborative work environment. Must be bilingual English/ Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead, manage, and provide feedback to a team of temporary employees.
Ensure clear and effective communication with team members to promote engagement and productivity.
Coach and counsel employees on attendance, productivity, and work performance.
Operational Support:
Monitor employee time clocks and address any discrepancies or concerns.
Collaborate with HR management, department supervisors, and facility leadership to align team performance with organizational objectives.
Ensure all team members meet production goals and comply with established processes and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in food production or hospitality is required.
Proven track record in team leadership or supervisory roles, especially in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees and leadership.
Ability to coach and motivate team members to meet and exceed performance expectations.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to oversee multiple priorities.
Work Environment:
The position is based at the customer site and involves active engagement in a production environment.
Must be able to work in cold temperatures.
