We are an apparel distribution company in the Ft. Lauderdale area seeking the right candidate to fill an administrative assistant position.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficiency with QuickBooks is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, & Word.
Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communications skills.
Detail-Oriented – Must have great attention to detail and be accurate on all tasks.
Outcome-oriented – Must be a self-starter with a can-do attitude that completes tasks on time.
Stable – Must be punctual and have reliable transportation.
People-oriented – Must have excellent customer service skills and a positive outlook with a calm demeanor.
Team-oriented - cooperative and collaborative with a willingness to learn new things in a fast-paced and adaptive environment which contributes to the company atmosphere.
Organized, dependable and be able to multi-task and execute daily duties & projects.
Able to take initiative and have the ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
JOB DUTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Daily data entry into QuickBooks
Daily Invoicing and friendly collection remainders to customers.
Follow up with prospective clients regularly.
Communicate with clients and potential customers in person, via phone and email.
Coordinating with warehouse personnel.
Arranging transportation for shipments including trade show materials.
Copying and Filing
Assisting team members with various projects as needed.
