Senko Yacht Interiors is looking for entry level carpenter helpers that are enthusiastic to learn. We have 2 shop locations, one in Fort Lauderdale and one in West Palm Beach and work will also be done at the nearby marinas. We are looking for workers for both of our location
We have ongoing jobs in Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm and carpenters can start ASAP!
The majority of our jobs are on interiors of super yachts and we only produce the highest quality wood work. SYI is looking for motivated carpenters with attention to detail, that we do not have to be watched every step of the way. We require our workers to have reliable transportation to get to work every day and a set of basic tools (drills, bits, router, hand tools, etc.). You must also have experience working with shop tools such as table saws, planer, jointer, bandsaw edge sanders, etc. Experience with vacuum bagging, laminations, resawing, and veneer work are also sought after skills. We are seeking individuals that can be given a task, follow through, and accomplish it independently.
We are also looking for helpers who want to learn or expand their knowledge of the trade and grow with the company.
Pay will be dependent on skill level. We are willing to pay as a W-2 employee or as a 1099 subcontractor.
