We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team and support our growing operations.
Position Overview:
As a Driver/Construction Supervisor, you will play a dual role in our team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials and personnel to and from construction sites, as well as overseeing daily site activities to ensure that projects are completed according to plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and personnel to various job sites.
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.
- Ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols and that the work environment is safe and secure.
- Assist with the scheduling and coordination of deliveries, inspections, and other project-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and labor hours.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to address any issues that arise on-site.
- Assist with general site tasks as needed, including hands-on work when required.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a construction environment, with a focus on supervision or site management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor as needed.
