We are a growing art glass studio in South Florida specializing in custom glass panels, windows, cabinet inserts, and decorative glass artwork. We’re passionate about craftsmanship, detail, and customer service. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Glass Studio Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
Job Summary
As a Junior Studio Assistant, you’ll support daily studio operations and assist with various stages of the art glass creation process. No prior stained glass experience is required—but an interest in art, design, or working with your hands is a plus.
Responsibilities (training provided)
- Assist in cutting, foiling, and assembling stained glass pieces
- Help with pattern preparation and material organization
- Clean, polish, and inspect finished pieces for quality
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized studio workspace
- Pack and prepare orders for delivery or pickup
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with or proficiency in using CAD and/or graphic design software
- Good hand-eye coordination and comfort using hand tools
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working independently and taking direction
- Art, design, or craft background is preferred
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and work documents
