Ira Walden & Sons is looking for an Estimator and Project Manager whose primary role will be to analyze blueprints, specifications and job scope to prepare cost estimates and proposals for painting custom residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals to clients, including pricing, specifications and project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimates, proposals and related documents.
- Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved.
- Lead, coach and motivate project teams on a proactive basis.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years experience in estimating and/or project management.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, problem solving skills.
- Ability to navigate and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency with online takeoff software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
