Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping software (ShipStation preferred), pick-and-pack processes, and selecting appropriate box or package types for various products. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders to meet daily shipping goals.
Use ShipStation or similar shipping software to process orders and print labels.
Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure products are securely packed for transit.
Organize and maintain the shipping area to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
Perform quality checks to ensure items match the order specifications.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing products.
Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries as needed.
Communicate with the customer service team regarding order issues or special requests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping or fulfillment role (e-commerce experience is a plus).
Familiarity with shipping software, preferably ShipStation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Physical ability to stand, lift, and move packages (up to 50 lbs) as required.
