The Senior Accountant furthers the company's goals through the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow, as well as the creation of budgets and forecasts, preparation of audits, and management of internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Must have excellent time management skills
Experience with ERP systems: Syspro is a plus
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Cost accounting experience desired
Great attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
