Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper in Alpharetta, Georgia. As part of our team, your role will focus on maintaining our financial records, including tracking sales, receipts, payments, and purchases.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle data entry tasks related to financial transactions. Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the correct ledgers and general ledger. Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions through regular balance audits. Generate balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current financial status. Accurately process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner. Maintain and update records, create reports and financial statements. Stay updated with QuickBooks Online for processing transactions and report generation. Complete and validate tax forms and remittances. Utilize Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping tasks and month end close processes. Perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliations and payroll tasks. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role or similar Proficiency in account reconciliation, ensuring financial records are accurate Experience with accounts payable (AP), handling outgoing payments in a timely manner Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR), managing incoming payments and invoices Capability to perform bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies Strong bookkeeping skills, maintaining organized and updated financial records Proficient in data entry, with an ability to input and manage financial information accurately Experience with Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for a variety of financial tasks Knowledge of month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date Experience in payroll management, overseeing accurate and timely payment to employees Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for managing financial tasks and bookkeeping duties Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
