We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Craft Beer Packager.
As an Assistant Craft Beer Packager, you will be integral to the final stages of our beer production process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our beers are packaged with the precision, care, and creativity that our brand is known for. This role is perfect for someone who loves craft beer and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment such as bottling, canning, and labeling machines.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of packaging materials, including bottles, cans, labels, and cartons.
- Perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity of the product through packaging.
- Work closely with the brewing team to coordinate packaging schedules with production output.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in inventory management of packaging supplies.
- Participate in packaging innovation projects, potentially involving new packaging methods or designs.
- Handle and pack special edition or limited-release beers with extra care.
- Previous experience in a brewery or similar manufacturing environment preferred but not a deal breaker.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills.
- A passion for craft beer and an understanding of its market.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as brewing and packaging schedules can vary.
