Irrigation Technician
An Athens based landscape company is looking for an Irrigation Technician. Our services include design and install of outdoor living environments, water features, large and small scale landscape projects, irrigation systems and the daily maintenance of lawns and landscapes. We serve a wide range of customers, from apartment complexes, retail centers, and corporate campuses to homeowner's associations, public spaces, and private residences.
Responsibilities:
- Installing systems and ensuring that they function efficiently
- Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves and performing pump repairs
- Adhering to Company's safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews
- Complete daily paperwork as required by each job
- Meet or exceed company production rates and standards set forth.
- Ensuring that customers are satisfied completely through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 yrs irrigation install or tech experience
- Strong work ethic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with customer service
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
