Squid Ink Office Management looking for part time remote data entry help. This position will grow into something more full time with you eventually taking on and being responsible for your own clients. We are a one woman show looking to expand as our client base has gotten bigger and need help handling the work load. You will start off getting a feel for what we do by doing data entry in QuickBooks Online for a few current clients. Depending on your knowledge and skill set-the time frame for additional hours, responsibilities, and amount of work are completely up to you.
While this is a work from home position, we will be meeting at least once a week to gauge your progress and go over/train for your responsibilities. After some time, this can become a phone call meeting. You must live in the Atlanta area-inside the perimeter is required, inside the city is ideal. This is a "go at your own pace" position but tasks will be required to be completed by a certain day of the week. If you do progress to having your own clients, I will require you to have reliable transportation.
We cater to creative based clients, mostly restaurants and food based. Having experience in restaurants (or other creative based fields) is optimal as well as experience in Office Management, but not required. I can teach you what you need to know-what I really need is someone with a positive attitude, self-motivated, professional, and loves problem solving.
I am looking for someone to work roughly 5-10 hours a week to start. This number will absolutely grow within the next few months. The starting rate will be modest but will grow after a probationary period-Compensation increase will depend on the work put into it. I absolutely reward hard work and initiative. If you have another job and just looking for a side hustle, this would be great. Servers/bartenders encouraged to apply (especially with management backgrounds)-I value experience in the field we cater to. The work starting out will not be difficult, but someone looking for growth in the company is ideal. I am looking for a right hand;someone who can grow with us. You will be given the opportunity to succeed but it is up to you to gauge how much.
