Senior Multi-Family Property Accountant
Full-time Experienced Multi-Family Property Accountant for Corporate Office
Nationwide, fast-paced, growing company specializing in multi-family property management seeks a Property Accountant for immediate employment. This role will be responsible for managing payables, receivables, deposits, and financial statements for 15 – 25 properties depending on number of units at each property.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and process deposits
Managing accounting processes for 15 – 20 properties including financial statement review.
Reconciling vendor statements and responding to vendor inquiries
Assist with completion of year-end audit processes
Record journal entries as assigned
Prepare bank reconciliations
Prepare capital reserve draws to be submitted to lenders
Special projects and other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform well in a team environment as well as work independently
Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands to meet deadlines effectively
Strong problem-solving and decision-making
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years multi-family accounting experience
Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
QuickBooks and RealPage experience a plus
