Prodew is the leading manufacturer of misting and humidification equipment for grocery retailers in the United States. Our products include misting systems for produce display cases, humidity systems for meat, seafood, deli, and floral displays, and more. We are a medium sized company with lots of room for growth.

Prodew is currently seeking an individual with a variety of skills and the ability to multi-task with an attention to detail. Candidates must be able to handle a variety of duties and deadlines.

Tasks include:

submitting quotes to customers

processing orders once the purchase order has been received

answering phone calls with the ability to speak with customers and technicians in a professional and courteous manner

write emails and other correspondence with proper grammar and punctuation

The customers for this particular position have specific requirements.

entering information on spreadsheets that then needs to be uploaded to the customer's online portal within a strict time frame

searching through building plans to find where our equipment is needed and then submitting the appropriate quote, also within a strict time frame

working with our customers' employees on the corporate level as well as the retail level to arrange service for their systems in a timely manner - this requires the ability to stay calm and respectful, even when the customer does not communicate in this manner

ensuring that all equipment is shipped on time to be installed on the specified date

work with the customer on the corporate and retail levels to ensure that our technicians are on site per the customers' schedule, and that the customer has provided the needed utilities by the date of the scheduled install

The responsibilities associated with the customer service aspect of the job are not difficult, but consist of many steps so organization and attention to detail are necessary.

The customer service representative doesn't need to understand our equipment to the point of assembling systems, but they do need to have adequate technical aptitude to look at photos, bills of material, and technical drawings to understand which systems or replacement parts are needed.

Prodew offers a relaxed but busy working environment. Each employee wears multiple hats and assists others as needed. A positive attitude, an absence of drama, and team-mentality are a must.
