Full time, Project Manager position to support our Sales Department by providing project management; working on a project through fruition from bidding, quoting, submittals, and assistance through production stages through coordination of shipment or installation to insure a satisfactory project outcome.

Essential job duties and responsibilities:

Assist APCO territory Sales Managers with request for bids, quotes, etc.,

Represent APCO and the APCO Sales Dept. with high regard in communication with clients, general contractors, architects, designers, and "in-house" clientele (Sales Reps, Sales Support, Production, etc.,).

Receives invitation to bid from general contractors and research bids accordingly.

Distributes Invites to Bid with specifications and architects' information to appropriate Sales Rep.

Work closely with VP of Sales, Sales Admin Manager, Estimating, Sales Support, Production, Installation Manager, Accounting, Visions/Graphic Planning Departments with correspondence, marketing material, message schedules, sign location plans and proposal preparation.

Creation of message schedules using Excel.

Creation of sign location plans using Adobe Illustrator.

Review request for proposal for House Territories and prepare quotes.

Assist production personnel with questions about orders.

Learn and maintain familiarity with APCO product line.

Maintain account management for various accounts.

Other such duties as may be required to meet objective.

Position requires:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent proof reading, spelling and grammar skills,

Excellent math and measuring skills.

Must be detail oriented, must have the ability to work well under stress/pressure/meet deadlines and maintain a positive "can do" attitude.

Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload,

Must have the ability to work as a "team player".

Must have the ability to get along with many different personalities and a work environment which can be very quiet or very loud.

Must be able to maintain a high level of integrity in handling confidential matters.

Must have the ability to read and interpret construction documents, reading plans and specifications.

Must have excellent keyboarding skills.

Must be proficient in working with PC.

Must be proficient in MS Office, FileMaker, AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator Programs

Excellent Customer Service and phone etiquette skills

Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License and good driving record.

Hours for this position: 8:30am to 5:30pm (1 hour lunch), Monday through Friday.

Prior project management experience in the sign industry preferred.
