Our financially stable client in Atlanta is searching for a Linux Application Engineer to leverage cutting edge technologies in support of business objectives.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Salary: $125K - $135K base with a 24% bonus
Responsibilities of the Linux Application Engineer:
Create, maintain availability, and support high performance Linux environments
Research, design, and develop code to support enterprise infrastructure
Tune systems for maximum available performance
Perform root cause analysis of issues
Select and implement automation tools
Requirements of the Linux Application Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong Linux/Red Hat background
Experience as a team lead
Strong management skills
Excellent soft skills
