Responsibilities:
Develop high quality software to meet requirements, promote re-use of software components, and facilitate ease of support
Practice Agile development and become familiar with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Lean principles, and the Scaled Agile Framework
Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability
Provide input and technical content for customer facing documentation, user help manuals, and customer training
Practice TDD/BDD, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test strategy for functional and non-functional requirements
Stay current with technology and form best practices
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in software design and development
3-5 years of leadership experience
Cloud experience is a MUST
Experience with Spring Frameworks, including Spring Boot
Experience with HTML 5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, Angular Framework, React
Experience with Database Management Systems (NoSQL preferred), JPA, Hibernate Test Driven
Experience with Development or Behaviour Driven Development (e.g. Junit, JBehave, Cucumber)
RESTful Web Services experience
