Director of Product Management

Our client is seeking a

Director of Product Management who will oversee their product strategy for a cloud storage product.

This role will be directly responsible for working with customers to build and enhance the company's product lines.

Here's what you'll be doing:


  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to enable business value creation

  • Managing the product development team for an entire line of product; measuring and improving team engagement and productivity

  • Coaching and developing team members while fostering a high-performing engineering culture

  • Directing strategic product development, management and deployment of product-focused resources

  • Understanding the market and driving the product team for the most profitable product, with a forward-thinking mind

  • Ideally, building new product to replace/enhance older products


Here's what our ideal candidate has:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or relevant field of study

  • 10+ years of experience focused around product development/management

  • 5+ years leading/managing technology teams

  • Public cloud experience using Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (Preferably Google Cloud Platform)

  • Understanding of microservices

  • Understanding of cloud native applications, cloud storage, and platforms such as Kubernetes

  • Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives such as re-architecting, and platform building
