Training Specialist

BryceTech is seeking a Training Specialist to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with the design, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training and professional development programs. The Training Specialist will work with CDC personnel and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop effective learning solutions, and ensure training materials and activities align with organizational objectives.The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, adult learning, curriculum development, training delivery, and evaluation. The candidate should be comfortable working with subject matter experts and translating complex technical or programmatic information into clear, engaging learning content.ResponsibilitiesConduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge, skill, and performance gapsCollaborate with CDC leadership, program personnel, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to define training requirementsDesign and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced training programsDevelop training curricula, course outlines, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, and other instructional materialsTranslate complex technical, scientific, policy, or programmatic information into accessible training contentApply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to training developmentDevelop presentations, exercises, case studies, simulations, assessments, and other learning activitiesFacilitate and deliver training sessions, workshops, orientations, briefings, and other learning eventsCoordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communications, registration, materials, technology, and participant supportWork with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with program requirementsDevelop and administer knowledge checks, assessments, surveys, and other tools to measure training effectivenessAnalyze training participation, completion, satisfaction, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvementEvaluate training outcomes and recommend modifications to improve learning effectivenessMaintain training curricula and materials to ensure content remains current and accurateSupport the development and implementation of training plans and learning strategiesDevelop training schedules, implementation plans, status reports, and other program documentationSupport learning management system (LMS) activities, including course creation, enrollment, completion tracking, and reportingCoordinate with internal and external training providers and vendors as neededDevelop executive-level briefings and reports regarding training activities and outcomesEnsure training products comply with applicable CDC policies, accessibility requirements, and organizational standardsSupport multiple training initiatives simultaneously while meeting established deadlinesPerform other related duties in support of CDC workforce development and training objectives
