Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pizza Kitchen Manager to oversee our bustling kitchen operations and ensure exceptional service in both back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pizza, a strong leadership presence, and a thorough understanding of food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Operations: Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high quality.
- Staff Management: Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen and FOH staff to deliver outstanding service and a positive dining experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, handle complaints effectively, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menu items, ensuring creativity and adherence to customer preferences.
- Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing labor costs to meet financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a pizza or casual dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of BOH operations, including food safety regulations and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent FOH skills, with experience in customer service and guest relations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
