Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our vegan cloud kitchen. This role requires a culinary expert with a strong background in plant-based cuisine and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. You will be responsible for menu development, food preparation, and team management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Create and innovate a diverse range of vegan dishes, focusing on flavor, presentation, and nutritional value.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste while keeping costs within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management to align kitchen operations with business goals and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a commercial kitchen, preferably in a vegan or plant-based setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of vegan ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ghost kitchen environment.
