Dat Fire Jerk Chicken is a fast casual takeout restaurant that brings a little taste of Jamaica to the vibrant streets of Downtown Atlanta. At the heart of our menu are our family recipes, which have been handed down through generations and are steeped in the cultural history of Jamaica. Dat Fire's mission is to introduce the taste, music, and culture of Jamaica to every guest that we serve. The Role
Reporting into store leadership, Crew Members are responsible for a variety of Dat Fire's restaurant operational tasks. As the first and sometimes the last point of contact for customers, Crew Members are responsible for providing the quality, friendly, and fun Dat Fire Experience.
Responsibilities & Requirements
As a Crew member, you will be afforded the opportunity to learn many different positions within the restaurant. Some of those positions may include:
Cashier Position
Kitchen Position
Food Prep Position
Cook Position
Food Truck Position
Previous experience working in a fast casual restaurant concept is a plus but not required.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, doors, restroom, etc.
Basic math skills and the ability to operate POS systems and 3rd party tablets.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours including nights and weekend shifts.
High energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment.
Prepares and ensures consistent, high-quality products are served to customers.
The ability to control and utilize equipment and machines safely and correctly.
Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed.
Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work roles.
Follow Dat Fire's safety procedures.
ServSafe Certification is a plus but not required.
The Crew Member role occasionally has physical requirements which include but are not limited to standing for long periods; walk, bend, kneel, and reach with hands, boxes or food containers typically weighing 50 pounds or less, without restrictions.
