Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to create delicious and nutritious meals while adhering to food safety guidelines and dietary requirements.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, ensuring that meals meet dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Follow food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests from guests.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
