We pride ourselves on offering our customers a unique and satisfying dining experience. Our food trailer serves patrons at a Buckhead bar and various events in DeKalb and Fulton counties. We also plan to serve our food through DoorDash and UberEats.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Short Order Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a passion for preparing high-quality, quick-serve dishes. As a Short Order Cook at WCB, you will be responsible for preparing our signature smash burgers and other menu items efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-shift food prep at our prep kitchen
- Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers and sides, according to WCB's recipes and standards inside the trailer.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and hot plates safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor food stock and notify management of any shortages.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the food trailer at various locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Short Order Cook or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during events.
- Reliable transportation to various work locations in DeKalb and Fulton counties.
