If you are skilled in food preparation and have professional experience, we would like to talk to you! Sauce Queen Kitchen & Pantry is a neighborhood restaurant and retail store made for everyday people, small groups, and all food lovers alike. We hope to be the food hub of the neighborhood of Adair Park where you can come eat, shop, meet, and learn. Opening at the end of the month, we will be serving a fresh but also very saucy lunch menu open Monday- Friday from 10AM-5PM.

We are HIRING for:

Full-time Line Cook ($16-$18/hr.)

Full-time and Part-time Prep Cooks ($14-$16/hr.)

Prep / Line Cook Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to kitchen safety protocols.

Work closely with the Head Chef and the team to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.

Contribute to the open kitchen environment and support team cohesion.

What We’re Looking For:

At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.

A strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate in a team setting.

Basic knife skills and proficiency in food prep.

A passion for learning, growth, and development in the culinary field.

Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced kitchen.

Flexibility to work full-time with evenings, weekends, and holidays off.

Preferred (but not required):

Experience with baking or pastry.

Background in higher-end or upscale restaurant service.

Familiarity with advanced culinary techniques like butchering or fermentation.

Experience in menu development, ordering, or inventory management
