POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of the market, its personnel, vendors and visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND TASKS
1. Performs security patrols.
2. Provides cordial directions to guests as needed.
3. Enforces safety and security procedures.
4. Protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
5. Investigates and writes detailed reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security related situations.
6. Uses effective radio communication across outlets with management team, as well as with property security.
7. Skilled in de-escalation during confrontations.
8. Monitors bar outlets and anticipates issues before they arise.
9. Monitor and control access at building entrances.
10. Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
11. Ensure the safety of all staff leaving the property.
12. Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department’s procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● High school diploma or GED
● Security/Law Enforcement Experience

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles
Employee will work with moving mechanical parts and vibrations
Employee may be exposed to extreme heat or cold conditions at work sites
The noise level in this work environment can be loud
Employee must wear a tailored jacket when working in the cocktail lounge
