Responsibilities:
· Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
· Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles in construction zones or other areas where traffic control is needed
· Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide directions and ensure compliance with traffic regulations
· Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
· Operate company truck safely and effectively.
· Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary
· Clean/stock/organize warehouse/yard
· Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others
· Other duties as required.
Requirements:
· Must have a Traffic Control Certification
· 1-2 years experience in Traffic Control
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
· Reliable Transportation
· Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
· Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
· Ability to work in outdoor environments and withstand various weather conditions
· Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and pedestrians
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Schedule
· Monday - Friday availability
· Ability to be at work as early as 5:00AM
Salary
· $18-20 an hour. Dependent on experience.
