Small construction company is looking for a general/skilled laborer. CDL a plus, but not required.
We are a small company that drills, forms, and pours light pole foundations for site lighting.
Laborer is needed to do manual labor such as digging with a shovel, forming up light pole bases, wrecking cardboard forms, and finishing concrete. Will also be responsible for welding rebar cages alongside other employees.
Work is 90%-95% in the Atlanta area and 5%-10% out of town.
Skills Required:
1. Must have a valid driver's license with good/clean driving record
2. Must be able to pass background checks for military and nuclear facilities
3. Must be drug free and able to pass a drug screening
4. Must have basic construction skills (i.e. reading a tape measure, light concrete work)
5. General concrete experience (from pouring to finishing)
6. Some welding experience (This is a vital part of the job and will need to be learned if no experience.)
7. Some electrical experience helpful.
