Landscape Management Company in Gainesville, GA is seeking EXPERIENCED Landscape Drivers. The Landscape Driver is responsible for safely transporting landscaping crews, materials, and equipment to and from job sites. This role involves ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations, as well as assisting with loading and unloading materials. The Landscape Driver will also collaborate with the landscaping team to execute projects efficiently, providing support in various tasks such as site preparation, maintenance and/or plant installation when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive and operate company vehicles to transport landscaping crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
Assist in loading and unloading landscaping materials and tools, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles, reporting any issues to ensure safety and compliance.
Support landscaping teams in various tasks, such as general landscaping maintenance, planting, mulching, and general site preparation when needed.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols during transportation and while on job sites.
Keep track of tools and materials, ensuring that all necessary items are available for each job.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
Work closely with the landscaping team to ensure smooth project execution and assist with any necessary tasks at job sites.
Requirements
Experience in commercial landscaping
Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience
Clean driving record
21 years of age or older
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug test
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Experience in driving small trucks, trailers, pick-ups, etc.
