HOME ASSISTANT NEEDED - CLEANING, ORGANIZING, MEAL PREP and ERRANDS (PART-TIME)
PAY: $18–$22 PER HOUR
ABOUT THE POSITION
I’m seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Home Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient household. This is a long-term position for the right person. Training will be provided, but I’m looking for someone who can eventually take initiative and help keep the home running smoothly.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
CLEANING & HOME CARE
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting
Kitchen upkeep: counters, appliances, dishes (as needed), trash removal
Bathroom cleaning: toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors
Tidying bedrooms and living areas
Occasional deep cleaning (baseboards, fridge clean-outs, oven cleaning)
ORGANIZATION
Organizing closets, cabinets, drawers, pantry
Creating simple systems to keep spaces tidy
Monitoring household inventory (cleaning supplies, pantry items, toiletries)
MEAL PREP & KITCHEN TASKS
Basic meal prep: chopping, portioning, simple recipes
Washing and prepping produce
Labeling and storing meals
Light dishwashing and kitchen reset after prep
ERRANDS & HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT
Grocery shopping
Picking up packages
Dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up
Handling returns
Miscellaneous errands
Occasional small home projects (storage organization, seasonal tasks)
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Reliable, trustworthy, punctual
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills
Comfortable with physical tasks
Reliable transportation required
Experience in housekeeping, nannying, personal assisting, or meal prep is a plus
Able to maintain confidentiality in a private home
HOURS & SCHEDULE
3 days per week
3–5 hours per day
Daytime hours (anytime between 9AM–6PM)
Must be consistent week to week
COMPENSATION
$18–$22 per hour depending on experience
Paid weekly or biweekly (your choice)
