QA Technician – Food Manufacturing
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Variable hours starting as early as 6:00 AM; must be available Wednesday–Friday, weekends may be required
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join a food manufacturing facility in Atlanta, GA. The QA Tech will help ensure that all products meet safety and quality standards, following company policies and food safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on products, packaging, and processes
Monitor and record production data according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP)
Conduct routine inspections and report findings to management
Assist with documentation and traceability of products
Identify, report, and follow up on any quality issues or non-conformances
Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production process
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food manufacturing QA preferred
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety guidelines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work variable early hours and weekends
Basic computer skills for logging inspections and reporting
