MCE SERVICES is a family owned company that has been in business for 18 years. We are looking for highly proficient, professional of MINIMUN 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Installer/ Service and Repair Technician to serve Atlanta Metro area.
Refrigeration Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen, refrigeration and HVAC equipment at our customer locations throughout North Georgia. Provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, coolers, freezers, and HVAC equipment. Must be self motivated and willing to learn and challenge yourself daily.
Minimum Requirements :
3 years MINIMUM of cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment service experience.
Technical School HVAC/R diploma preferred.
Must have strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Must have strong customer communication skills.
Must be dedicated to customer service and must be on time to work and well organized.
Must be able to pass a Drug screen and a criminal background check.
Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Must be willing to perform on-call duties and work after normal business hours, as needed.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, HVAC units, Hot Plates, Walk-in Coolers and Freezers, Reach in Coolers and Freezers.
CFESA certification and Factory training a plus.
Must be computer literate.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism at all times. Complete service calls in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with Customers, Service Manager, Dispatcher, and Salesmen.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Participate in an on-call work rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty.
Identify new customers and additional opportunities within our existing accounts.
Maintain and clean your Service vehicle.
Order parts and complete the required paperwork.
