One of Atlanta?s top law firms is seeking a senior commercial litigation paralegal. This paralegal will join a nationally recognized team and will provide case management throughout all stages of litigation. The ideal senior litigation paralegal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all phases of discovery including collecting, reviewing and producing electronic documents and working the cases through trial. Candidates are required to have an undergraduate degree or ABA approved paralegal certificate and at least five years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm. We are looking for a self-starter who can prioritize and manage a full work load. Must have strong technical skills including MS Word, Excel, and a litigation support software. Flexibility for overtime and travel required. The responsibilities of this litigation paralegal will include:Performing legal researchPerforming electronic discoveryPreparing deposition materials and summariesDrafting legal documentsCreating and maintaining case chronologies. Creating and coordinating organizational tracking systems for large document collectionAssisting with e-filing with courtsManaging automated litigation support tools and use existing, or create new, procedures for organizing, coordinating and retrieving documentsPreparing for and attending depositions, arbitrations, trials and hearings This firm has a proven record of accomplishment and is known nationally for their expertise in legal matters.
